About the Event
Twilight at Pupuke
Twilight Golf is one of our biggest events in the calendar, running each year every week during the Daylight savings period. As shorter formats of golf become increasingly popular, the field is a sell out each week with at least 120 golfers from the Club and beyond taking part. We get players form all over Auckland attracted to this competition each week.
This year we are proud to partner with Shore Travel, Sculptureum, Parakai Hot Springs, Browns Bay Butchery and Golf NZ to bring us prize tables each week.
We have adopted Golf NZ’s Make time Play 9 property which gives you the chance to WIN a once in a lifetime prize!

What is Make Time Play 9?
Make Time Play 9 is about promoting a shorter format of the game and encouraging people to get out and play 9 holes.
Acknowledging that everyone is busy, we encourage people to make time in their day to do things that are meaningful to them, to be active, to be with their friends and family, to take on a new personal challenge, and to have fun! What better way to do that than on the golf course?
Nine holes can be played by anyone. It’s ideal for all ages and skill levels. It’s fun, flexible and quick which makes it easy to fit into your day, no matter how busy your schedule is.
That’s why we’re encouraging you to Make Time, Play 9!
Road to the Open
Running again this year will be a competition from Golf New Zealand.
The Road to the Open!From 1 October 2023, golfers that submit a 9-hole scorecard will be in the chance to win a trip to Queenstown in 2024 to play in a special 9-hole event with eight other golfers. We will announce randomly drawn winners at the end of each month with the last player to be announced in February 2024. The nine finalists will have a unique opportunity to play at Millbrook Resort during the New Zealand Open. The two winners from the Make Time Play 9 final event will win a once in a lifetime trip to play in The R&A 9-Hole Challenge on the eve of The 152nd Open Championship at Royal Troon in 2024. The event will include 42 other club golfers from across the world and each person will receive return airfares, accommodation and tickets to The 152nd Open.
Last year one of our own, Christine McFadzean, won and was sent to Queenstown to try her luck at the Open!
